Puebco
Puebco started in Tokyo in 2007 with a founder, Hirotaka Tanaka, who had more instinct than business plan. The idea was simple: find something with a past life — a parachute, an oil container, a worn-out truck seat — and work out what it wants to become next. Nearly twenty years later, that's still the whole method.
The results look like they've always belonged in your house, even the first time you see them. Trash cans, aprons, bags — all built from recycled or found materials, with an industrial edge that reads as considered rather than accidental. Nothing's sanded down to hide where it came from. The marks are just part of it.
Made to get used, not just looked at.
