Archivist Gallery
Archivist Gallery started at a kitchen table, when husband-and-wife team William and Sarah Allardice began making letterpress cards and prints inspired by images from the Natural History Museum's archives — which is where the name comes from. Nearly three decades on, it's grown into one of Britain's largest dedicated letterpress printing facilities, still run by the same two people who started it.
The matchboxes carry that same letterpress craft into something small and everyday. Printed in the UK and designed in collaboration with artists from around the world.
